SPRING 2023: Hike-Ready Backpacks
As part of our Outdoor Journey, we researched, bought supplies for, and assembled Hike-Ready Backpacks to inspire people to go explore nature in a safe and ready way. 15 backpacks filled with hiking essentials were donated to Stand Up Placer.
SPRING 2022: Citizen Scientist Earth Echo Water Sampling & Park Clean-Up
We gathered, tested, and contributed data to a global water sampling project, and protected waterways with a park cleaning project. Learn more
WINTER 2021: Placer County Food Bank + Kiwanis
We helped pack boxes with food for families in need. Learn more
SPRING 2021: Birthday Boxes for Kids & Teens
We did a Bronze Award Project to help kids and teens at the City Life Sayonara Center feel special on their birthday by creating “Birthday Boxes” full of supplies and goodies. Learn more
WINTER 2020: SAFETY & MANNERS VIDEO FOR GIRL SCOUTS
We did a Take Action Project to help younger Girl Scouts learn good safety skills and manners when selling cookies. Learn more
Spring 2019: Save the Orca Whales
We did a Take Action project to help raise awareness and save amazing orca whales. Learn more
WINTER 2018: STAND UP PLACER
We shopped for and donated over $100 worth of Christmas toys for kids in the safehouse. Learn more
Fall 2018: Seniors First - Ceramic Bowls
We learned about ceramics and how bowls are made by hand and with molds. At Sac City Ceramics, we decorated bowls as gifts for seniors through Seniors First. Learn more
Fall 2018: Feed My Starving Children - Mobile Pack
We helped measure, mix, weigh, seal and box food for children in the neediest places all around the world. Learn more
FALL 2018: Childhood Cancer Awareness
Every September we honor Chilchood Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a fund-raising lemonade stand. All contributions go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, an organization that raises millions each year towards childhood cancer research. Learn more
SPRING 2018: water savers
We used the funds we raised from our Cookie sales to purchase materials and create posters to hang in our community, and we created a water-savers showcase and this website. Learn more
WINTER 2018: Girl scouts
We used the funds we raised from our Cookie sales to help with a project called, "Girls Helping Girls," which helps pay Girl Scout registration fees for our fellow Girl Scouts.
FALL 2017: Stand Up Placer
We used the funds we raised from our Nuts & Magazine sales to buy bed sheets for the Stand Up Placer safehouse. We also purchased over $200 worth of toys and other needed items, and assembled Christmas Kits for the kids staying in the safehouse. Learn more
SPRING 2017: SPCA
We used the funds we raised from Cookie sales to purchase products and assemble Adoption Kits for new pet owners, which the Roseville SPCA distributed. We also created an Public Service Announcement. Learn more
WINTER 2017: City of Roseville
We used our funds to purchase trash bags, and went out to a local park near a middle school to pick up trash. Learn more
FALL 2016: Operation Christmas Child
We used the funds we raised through our Nuts & Magazine sales to buy toys and other needed items for kids around the world. Learn more
